The assignment will be delivered in close collaboration with the 2050 MEL Adviser, the Adviser Data Analytics and Insights, and key regional partners including the Pacific Community (SPC), the Pacific Data Hub, UNICEF Pacific, National Statistical Offices, CROP agencies, United Nations agencies and other development partners
To contribute to embedding CoP across the organization, UNICEF is engaging a consultant to, among others, prepare a first draft of institution-wide procedure on CoP, which would build on the CCCs, and help establish a more systematic approach to addressing protection risks affecting children across contexts and programs.
UNICEF seeks a senior individual consultant to facilitate a focused analytical exercise with a selected group of humanitarian country offices and key regional and headquarters stakeholders to better model and address the nature, drivers and measurement of programme management and operational overhead costs. The purpose of the assignment is to agree an evidence-based framework to disaggregate and analyze operational and porgramme support costs in complex humanitarian country offices, and their implications for business model design and organizational efficiency. The assignment will identify practical approaches to improve the transparency, consistency and comparability of how such costs are understood, measured and reported within existing organizational systems and cost structures.
The purpose of this assignment is to design, develop, and operationalize a National Electronic Maternal and Perinatal Death Surveillance and Response (eMPDSR) System for Lesotho that will strengthen the timely identification, notification, review, analysis, and response to maternal, neonatal, stillbirth, and perinatal deaths. The system will serve as a unified national platform that integrates and interoperates with existing government information systems, including DHIS2, CRVS, IDSR, and other relevant platforms, to improve mortality surveillance, enhance accountability, support evidence-based decision-making, and accelerate reductions in preventable maternal and newborn deaths.
To support implementation of the National SRHR Roadmap and achievement of project objectives, UNICEF Lesotho, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, seeks to engage a consultant to provide dedicated technical and coordination support for SRHR monitoring, accountability, data systems, reporting, knowledge management and stakeholder coordination. The consultant will help ensure that roadmap priorities are implemented, progress is tracked, evidence is generated and lessons are documented to inform decision-making, accountability and future scale-up.
