Le Bénin recrute un(e) consultant (e) international(e) en logistique et chaine du froid aura la charge d’apporter un appui technique à la Direction de la Vaccination et de la Logistique (DVL) de l’Agence Nationale des Soins de Santé Primaires (ANSSP) dans la gestion logistique et la gestion des vaccins dans le cadre de la mise en oeuvre du grand rattrapage au Bénin.
Le/la consultant(e) travaillera sous la supervision du Nutrition Manager / Prévention de la section Nutrition de l’UNICEF Niger en étroite collaboration avec le consultant/l’expert (e) international (e) et les responsables du ministère de la Santé publique au niveau national, régional et district. Ceci est essentiel pour conserver un esprit de renforcement durable du système sanitaire avec le leadership et l’engagement direct des parties prenantes gouvernementales. A cet effet les livrables du consultant national devront être validés par le/la consultant (e) international (e). Le chronogramme de travail sera inclusif et complémentaire avec celui du/de la consultant (e) international (e).
Aussi, il est attendu la participation active du niveau national, régional et district fasse partie dedans l’équipe de collecte des informations.
The Security Associate reports to the SO (Security Officer) for supervision. The Security Associate provides technical, operational and administrative assistance to the Supervisor in support of their role as it relates to ensuring the safety and security of personnel and their eligible family members as well as the safeguarding of UNICEF premises, assets and resources at the duty station. In carrying out the below duties the incumbent is expected to follow instructions precisely and in strict compliance with supervisor’s instructions and UN Security related policies, rules and procedures
The Special Representative serves as the representative of UNICEF in the State of Palestine and reports to the Regional Director for general direction and oversight. The Special Representative is responsible for establishing dialogue with the Palestinian Government to develop and implement the framework of cooperation in the State of Palestine as part of the Area Programme Document (APD) for Palestinian children and for working closely and collaboratively with the Government and national institutions, stakeholders and partners, to develop the Government-UNICEF APD in active support of efforts to advance children’s rights as established under the Convention on the Rights of the Child, other international treaties/frameworks, the SDGs, and UN intergovernmental bodies. The Special Representative is also responsible for leading engagement with the Israeli Government who – due to the occupation context and protracted conflict – has responsibilities towards children in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
As Head of a large-size Office, the Special Representative is responsible for providing leadership and vision to the UNICEF Office in the State of Palestine team, which is now split into three locations and managing and leveraging resources for the achievement of results and realization of the rights of children. The Special Representative leads and oversees the various programme sectors and operations teams ensuring delivery of quality results in accordance with UNICEF’s Strategic Plans, standards of performance and accountability framework, ethics and integrity. The Special Representative is accountable for upholding UNICEF’s Core Values of Care, Respect, Integrity, Trust, Accountability and Sustainability, and ensuring the establishment and maintenance of a non-discriminatory, inclusive and nurturing working environment for all staff and personnel, to enable them to effectively and efficiently deliver high-quality results for children.
A Resource Mobilization and Partnerships Chief with substantial experience in countries in transition is needed. The RMPU Chief should be able to interact with donors at a strategic level and in a delicate manner to bring the challenges mentioned above to their attention, and ensure supporting children remains a high priority area for donors. The RMPU Chief needs to have the experience and stature to be able to interact and advocate with donors at the highest levels, including their Chief of Missions in Bangladesh. The aim of the interaction is not only to secure resources for Bangladesh’s regular programme, but also for its humanitarian interventions, be it due to national emergencies or supporting the Rohingya population residing in Bangladesh.
