The Education/Adolescent Development Officer based in Bishkek reports to the Chief of Education/Adolescent Development Section for supervision. The Officer works in close cooperation with the Osh based Education/Adolescent Development Officer and Osh Zone Office. The Officer provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process to support the integration of Education, including ECE, Inclusive Education and other education areas, and adolescent development and participation in programmes/projects within the Country Programme. The Officer is responsible for preparing, executing, managing and implementing a variety of technical and administrative programme tasks to support the development and formulation of the education and adolescent development and participation programmes/projects within the Country Programme 2023-2027.
The Statistics and Monitoring Officer is to strengthen the evidence based planning and monitoring function in the office aligned to strengthen the national data capacity on integration of child and adolescent specific data both administrative data and in national surveys under the direct supervision of the Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist (P3). The Officer’s primary role is to support the generation, analysis, and use of data and information to enhance the quality, effectiveness, and equity of UNICEF programmes. The Officer provides professional technical and operational assistance to ensure robust data collection, information management, and performance monitoring and reporting systems. This includes supporting field monitoring, strengthening data quality assurance, facilitating real-time data use, and contributing to evidence-informed decision-making. The Officer also supports evaluation planning and follow-up, with a particular focus on managing evaluation data, tracking implementation of recommendations, and contributing to knowledge generation for better results for children.

The Construction Specialist reports to the Supply & Logistics Manager as per the Country Office (CO) set-up and is responsible for the coordination of the construction activities of a large-sized country office. The management of construction projects includes planning, support to procurement, as well as monitoring of construction works on site. The incumbent collaborates closely with UNICEF Programme/ Operations in defining construction interventions to meet programmatic needs and achieve results for children, and provides technical and advisory support to Government and partners on construction project management.
