The Knowledge Management (KM) Specialist is integral to Polio Eradication efforts and is tasked with identifying, managing, capturing, and sharing critical information to advance not only SBC practices but to enhance overall program effectiveness. This role is essential for meeting the knowledge needs of the Polio Eradication Team across all levels of UNICEF, ensuring strategies are in sync with UNICEF’s global Knowledge Management strategies.
The Specialist will be accountable for enriching UNICEF's KM approach, Implementing and improving the Polio KM strategy, leveraging new tools and methodologies, and fostering a collaborative learning environment that supports the global objective of polio eradication.

However, recent global disruptions, such as those caused by climate change and conflicts, have highlighted the fragility of supply chains. Given the impact of these disruptions on vulnerable populations in particular through the disrupted access to essential supplies, UNICEF is prioritizing efforts to strengthen the resilience of supply chains for children through strategic public-private partnerships and innovative tools.
Under the supervision of the Planning Manager, the position (i) supports the collection and/or generation of relevant data and analysis for supply chain, forecasting, and demand planning purposes. (ii) contributes to ensuring supply chain business intelligence is developed and available, organizational performance indicators are regularly monitored, supply Dashboards and other visibility and monitoring tools are available, working optimally and meeting the needs of the Supply and Programme functions;
The Child Protection Officer provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for child protection programmes/projects within the Country Programme from development planning to delivery of results. H/She prepares, executes, manages, and implements a variety of technical and administrative programme tasks to facilitate programme development, implementation, programme progress monitoring, evaluating and reporting.
