The Young People Team of the UNICEF Thailand Country Office is seeking a qualified consultant to conduct a feasibility assessment of the pilot project for the future institutionalisation and scale up of integrated services for youth Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) situations, with the goal of facilitating its nationwide scale-up and supporting its adoption as a national policy instrument by the relevant Government authorities.
The National Consultant will work under the direct supervision of the Health Officer at UNICEF and in close collaboration with the international consultant. The national consultant will coordinate closely with the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Population (MOHSPP), the Republican Center of Immunoprophylaxis (RCIP), the Committee for Environmental Protection, and other relevant stakeholders to provide in-country support for the assignment.
The national consultant will be helping the MoES and its affiliated institutions to develop a framework for CBE learning materials, develop sample units for selected subjects and grades, and design a financial model to support a sustainable approach to CBE learning materials.
The purpose of this consultancy is to provide high-quality technical assistance to the child protection team by supporting several initiatives for dissemination and implementation of the CPSS approach on the ground and to strengthen the inclusion agenda, especially with a focus on children on the move in national CP systems through comprehensive and effective knowledge generation, dissemination and utilization. This will include the development, validation, and dissemination of several global public goods in the form of technical notes/guidance on various aspects of the CPSS approach.
