UNICEF Belize is seeking an experienced Child Protection Officer to provide high-level technical and strategic support to advance national priorities on Ending Violence Against Children (EVAC), gender equality, child care reform, and resource mobilization.
The role will support the Government of Belize and national partners to strengthen multi-sectoral prevention and response systems, integrate gender-responsive and gender-transformative approaches across policies and programmes, and deliver concrete, costed frameworks and reform pathways aligned with global and regional commitments.
Working under the supervision of the Child Protection Officer, the consultant will collaborate closely with government counterparts, civil society, UN agencies, and UNICEF regional advisers, contributing to sustainable, system-level results for children and families in Belize.
