A challenging and exciting opportunity has arisen within UNICEF Mozambique for a passionate and committed Programme Specialist (WASH and Climate, Energy & Environment), NO-3 level position based in Maputo. The Specialist will engage with national authorities on climate related issues, in strengthening mainstreaming of the climate agenda into WASH programming. UNICEF operates in a complex humanitarian and development setting, where timely delivery of supplies and services is critical to program success. The logistics function plays a key role of ensuring that operational and programmatic needs are met effectively, efficiently, and sustainably. The coordinator will be part of the logistics team and will support coordination implementations of supply chain operations.
UNICEF is supporting the government of Indonesia to scale up the free meal programme in Papua province. The purpose of this consultancy is to provide technical expertise in reviewing and assessing the architectural layout and cost estimates of kitchen facility infrastructure to ensure functional, cost-efficient, and aligned with national standards for food safety, hygiene, and nutrition service delivery. This will support the effective implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal Programme for children and pregnant women in Papua by ensuring that physical infrastructure is well-designed, appropriately budgeted, and capable of sustaining high-quality meal preparation and distribution. The consultant will work for approx. 4 months, based in Jayapura.
