The purpose of this consultancy is to provide coordination and technical support to the National Planning Commission (NPC) and the National Nutrition and Food Security Secretariat (NNFSS) in strengthening multi-sector coordination structures at the federal, provincial, and local levels and supporting the operationalization of EU budget support for the effective implementation of the Multi-Sector Nutrition Plan III (MSNP-III, 2023-2030). The assignment will focus on strengthening multi-sector coordination mechanisms, enhancing the capacity of MSNP-III governance structures across all three levels of government, and facilitating the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of EU budget support toward the achievement of Disbursement Linked Indicators (DLIs) under the leadership of the NPC.
To provide continuous technical guidance, system strengthening and capacity building required to scale, stabilize and optimize the Integrated Birth Registration Ecosystem across 30 UNICEF-supported states, ensuring interoperability between Vital Reg, DHIS, NBS and NIMC, and embedding sustainability through knowledge transfer to NPC technical teams.
