The incumbent provides technical assistance, analytical support, and coordination for national and subnational efforts to strengthen budget planning, public investment management, and fiscal decision-making that advance children’s and families’ well-being in both humanitarian and recovery contexts.
Ukraine is undergoing a complex fiscal and institutional transformation, including amid recovery from war, decentralization, and integration with the EU. Local governments play an increasing role in service delivery, while fiscal space remains constrained and public investment needs are unprecedented.
