| UNICEF currently has a few active Corporate Agreements (CoAg) with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Under this consultancy, the CoAg titled “Global Emergency Response and Recovery Partner Engagement: Expanding Efforts and Strategies to Improve Rapid Response to Public Health Emergencies Globally” is the focus and other relevant CDC projects supervised by the principal investigator (PI for the CoAg, currently the associate director of Health section).
In close collaboration with WASH chiefs and project managers at the country level, the consultant will support the third-year CDC CoAg management, including communication with the donor and coordination of activities. The third-year projects to be managed is two pronged: 1) projects funded directly through the third-year of the CoAg (September 2025 – September 2026), including Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) for Mpox (monkeypox) response, Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH), and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH); 2) multisectoral cholera response projects and an Ebola response project whose funds were awarded through an immunization CoAg to the same PI which runs through June 2026 with high possibility of carryover beyond June |
