Under the supervision of the Chief of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (PME), and working closely with the Regional Office Multi-Country Evaluation Specialist (MCES), the Evaluation Officer will support the effective planning, management, quality assurance, dissemination, and use of evaluations and research across the UNICEF country programme, in line with the UNICEF Evaluation Policy, UNEG Norms and Standards, and the JCO Evaluation Strategy.
The purpose of the consultancy is to produce a defined set of analytical and knowledge products during the ECAMENA transition. These include a workshop report, reviews of specific evidence products, documentation of selected survey innovations, a practical transition note, and research papers on MICS innovations in MENA. The assignment is time-bound and linked to the deliverables and deadlines specified in the Work Assignment Overview.
