UNICEF in Romania is seeking to engage the services of digital communication consultants with significant knowledge and experience in communication on social media and online platforms to contribute to maximizing the usage of communication materials and digital fundraising campaigns for UNICEF in Romania’s activities.
UNICEF Romania invites qualified candidates to express their interest to be included in the roster of social protection specialists. The specialists will be responsible for supporting UNICEF in evidence generation, policy and legal analyses, policy advocacy, policy and programme planning, implementation, and monitoring to support social protection of children in Romania. Overall, UNICEF’s social policy agenda prioritizes supporting the national-level social protection reforms, in close collaboration with the Ministry of Labor and Social Solidarity and other state institutions and development partners. The aim is to contribute to making the social protection system in Romania more effective in addressing child poverty and social exclusion, considering that 41.5 per cent of the population in Romania were at risk of poverty or social exclusion in 2022. Moreover, on the backdrop of the recent crises situation, UNICEF will continue to invest in strengthening the preparedness and responsiveness of the national social protection system to future shocks.

In this context, UNICEF Romania seeks to establish a roster of Experts in Education to support its work.

The specialists will be responsible for supporting UNICEF in evidence generation, policy and legal analyses, policy advocacy, policy and programme planning, implementation, and monitoring to support local governance and public finance for children in Romania. Overall, UNICEF intends to contribute to accelerating local governance and public finance reforms, in close collaboration with the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration and other national and local level institutions and development partners. The aim is to contribute to an improved and strengthened local governance framework for children and to enhance the efficiency of funding mechanisms so as to support the service provision at the local level.
