The Finance Assistant is accountable for supporting the Finance area in their transactional responsibilities, this include but are not limited to: Payments for Goods and Services through Service Gateway submissions to GSSC, Petty Cash management, account reconciliations, reviews of Implementing Partners and eZHACT and FACE Form compliance, etc.
The purpose of this assignment to work together with the international consultant
in the development of a four (4) year national harmonized child survival action operational plan (CSA) including development of a robust CSA monitoring framework and an advocacy plan. The aim of the plan is to accelerate progress on Child Survival action in Somalia, in line with the Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG3) target “Good health and well-being” and Federal government's commitment to ending preventable deaths of newborns and children under 5 years. In addition to the national CSA and advocacy plan, the national
consultant will be supporting the seven state ministries in contextualizing the developed national action plan into state-level child survival operational plans.
