Purpose of Activity/ Assignment:
To provide technical support and capacity building to UNICEF’s leadership and technical colleagues across sectors, Regional and Country Offices on leveraging new data, preventing and minimizing risk of child displacement and preparing and strengthening climate resilient and inclusive systems for children for children on the move. Serve as subject matter expert to inform UNICEF’s global positioning on climate mobility policy dialogue, partnership development and resource mobilization.
The consultant will perform the specific tasks in collaboration with UNICEF Regional Offices, key country offices, PG’s Climate Environment Energy & Disaster and Child Protection Teams, Data & Analytics, and the Public Partnerships Division.
UNICEF Ukraine is seeking a Social Media Content Creator Consultant to further grow and strengthen its TikTok presence. The consultant will play a central role in ensuring that UNICEF Ukraine remains relevant and engaging for adolescents in Ukraine, and that it supports their rights to participation, access to vital information, and support for their urgent needs.
The consultant will be responsible for planning, scripting, filming, and editing short-form vertical videos tailored to TikTok and adaptable for audiences on other platforms, using a variety of tools and formats. They will be expected to develop content that supports UNICEF’s strategic priorities and aligns with the communication and advocacy content calendar—such as mental health, education and skills-building, climate action, civic participation, and positive online behavior—translating complex and technical messages into engaging, youth-friendly storytelling that fits the dynamics of short-form social media.
UNICEF proposes to engage the expertise of a highly qualified WASH innovative finance (IF) specialist to facilitate the effective implementation of sustainable and innovative finance solutions for WASH in the West and Central Africa region (WCAR). These tasks encompass scoping, mapping and supporting IF solutions, and technical support to regional and country offices on IF solutions as well as providing capacity building assistance to Country Offices working on innovation projects.
Under the supervision of the Regional Adviser, Sustainability and Climate Section, ECARO and CEED Specialist, UNICEF Tajikistan, the consultant will be responsible for the implementation of the following tasks and delivering the specified outputs. This assignment requires active consultation and close collaboration with various UNICEF sections of Central Asian Country Offices to ensure alignment with organizational goals and integration of expertise across relevant areas. The consultant will work closely with sector specialists to gather insights, validate findings, and ensure that the deliverables comprehensively address climate change education, as well as potential strategies for resilience and adaptation in Tajikistan.
UNICEF Pacific is in search of a dedicated and proactive national or international Consultant. The consultancy is for a period of 97 days (83 remote and 14 in country) spread over 7 months. The consultancy is open to both national and international applicants and is expected to be home-based with 14 days at country level. The consultant must be available for meetings scheduled during Vanuatu working hours. The consultant will report on a day-to-day basis to the Chief of UNICEF Field Office in Vanuatu, who will provide administrative oversight and facilitate engagement with national counterparts and partners. Technical guidance, quality assurance, and coordination support will be provided by the Climate and Environmental Specialist based at the UNICEF Pacific Multi-Country Office in Suva, Fiji. For consultants based outside of Vanuatu, two in-country missions are anticipated over the duration of the assignment. The number, timing, and duration of these missions will be defined during the inception phase. The consultant’s financial proposal must include all the costs required to carry out the assignment. This includes professional fees, travel-related expenses such as return economy-class airfare, terminal expenses, Daily Subsistence Allowance (DSA) and insurance, communication cost etc. Costs associated with the organization of consultation workshops (e.g., venue hire, refreshments, materials) will be covered directly by UNICEF and should not be included in the consultant’s financial proposal.
