UNICEF Afghanistan Country Office (ACO) established an Outpost office in Termez in charge of procurement of goods for the programmes and operations of the Country Office.
The Office is conveniently hosted by Termez Cargo Center, the designated logistics hub in Termez area, along with other UN agencies and humanitarian organizations.
To provide technical support to the Government of Uzbekistan (specifically to the Ministry of Preschool and School Education) to support enhancing pre-service teacher’s training programmes.

The Administrative Assistant/Driver for the Termez Outpost is accountable for communications, operational and secretarial support services to enhance the smooth running of the team and its workflow. At the same time, he or she will provide reliable and safe driving services, demonstrating the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, integrity, sense of responsibility, excellent knowledge of protocol whilst ensuring compliance with local driving rules and regulations.
The International Consultant will technically lead the process of modelling school-based assistive technologies, devices and equipment for inclusive education.
In 2025, UNICEF aims to heighten its collaboration with the private sector in Uzbekistan. This heightened collaboration entails an in-depth understanding and mapping of opportunities. In addition to enhance collaboration, it is also critical to generate an Uzbekistan officewide approach in utilising the power of businesses to attain programmatic, advocacy and fundraising results. The private sector’s role is already a key contributor to UNICEF Uzbekistan Results.
