The Education (Research on Education and Development – READ) unit at UNICEF-Innocenti currently supports more than 40 countries to produce and use high quality research on education. The READ unit is searching for a highly skilled education researcher to support the management of the growing digital learning research portfolio.
As a member of OoR’s Social and Economic Policy team, the incumbent will be responsible for providing research and technical assistance to these two projects, including supporting the management of day-to-day operations of the research projects, establishing, and maintaining partnerships (internal/external), and communicating and disseminating research evidence to various stakeholders and the public.
In addition, the incumbent will support the development of new lines of research on family policy and social protection/cash transfers and urban contexts.
The Communication Unit is seeking a suitably qualified candidate to support their large portfolio by executing a broad variety of cross-office administrative, programmatic and logistical support functions. The incumbent shall be required to have thorough knowledge of UNICEF administrative procedures, processes, policies, rules and regulations.
The purpose of this call is to solicit applications from individuals who are interested in working with the Research on Education And Development (READ) unit in a consultant/individual contractor capacity, either part or full time and either on site in Florence, Italy or remotely.
