The Child Protection Officer provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for child protection programmes/projects within the Country Programme from development planning to delivery of results. H/She prepares, executes, manages, and implements a variety of technical and administrative programme tasks to facilitate programme development, implementation, programme progress monitoring, evaluating and reporting.
The Construction Officer is responsible for providing technical support to construction activities of the country office. The technical support on construction projects includes planning, support to procurement, as well as monitoring of construction works on site. The incumbent collaborates closely with UNICEF Programme/ Operations in defining construction interventions to meet programmatic needs and achieve results for children.
The consultant will work closely with UNICEF’s implementing partners, provide technical support to the Child Protection Section to deliver the following products:
1. Development of detailed Action Plans within Hromadas.
2. Support in creation and strengthening the Oblast-level Care Taskforce.
3. Coordination of implementing partners at regional level.
4. Monitoring and reporting.
5. Gradual integration of new Hromadas.
The Consultant should advise UNICEF about a strategy to gradually integrate more/new Hromadas.
The WASH Officer (Institutional Strengthening and Capacity Development of Water Utilities) will help along the whole project cycle in the negotiation, design, formalization, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of STAPs and MTIPs to be developed and implemented, including the management of contracts and cooperation agreements with and between specialized technical partners.
This role will also support the development, preparation, management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the WASH programme within Ukraine CO country programme, and provide technical guidance and management support throughout the programming processes, to facilitate the administration and achievement of the WASH-related output results in the country programme.
The Programme Specialist (Digital CRB) will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, policies and programs that promote and protect the rights of children in the digital environment.
The incumbent supports UNICEF National Committees, Regional, and Country Offices to engage industry, policy makers, and other stakeholders on the government duty to protect and business responsibility to respect children’s rights, specifically in the context the digital environment, and works closely with relevant teams across UNICEF Divisions including PG/Child Protection, Office of Research, Office of Innovation and ICTD in developing evidence, policy guidance, technical support and capacity building as it relates to children’s rights in the digital environment.
The position will strengthen knowledge management and lead external stakeholder engagement, including for resource mobilization as relevant, including in support of CO programme implementation.
