Under the supervision of the Emergency Specialist (Risk Analysis), the intern will be responsible for building and sustaining the community of practice for risk analysis by developing and operationalizing an engaging and collaborative network, leveraging internal tools such as the Viva platform to ensure its long-term success.
The intern, under the supervision of the Emergency Specialist (Risk Analysis), will be responsible for supporting the development and enhancement of artificial intelligence, machine learning (AI/ML) tools and data-scraping for automating data collection, analysis and visualization, aiding real-time risk analysis and decision-making processes.

This intern will work closely with the different UNICEF departments and others to deliver the desired outcomes.
This internship is seeking a highly motivated student or recent graduate (within two years of completing their undergraduate, Masters, or PhD studies) who is eager to translate their academic knowledge into actionable solutions for applied programmes and projects. The intern is expected to contribute meaningfully to initiatives that make a difference in the lives of vulnerable populations via their support to the programmes and policies that UNICEF Country Offices are developing.
