Under the close supervision of the Fundraising Manager, P-3, the GS6 Fundraising Associate (Face-to-Face) will support the implementation of the face-to-face fundraising strategy of the Dominican Republic Country Office. Individual Giving plays a key role in achieving the projected Gross Revenue in the coming years and it is strategic to achieve sustainable performance of the face-to-face channel to align with the overall fundraising strategy. This position will be key to ensure achievement of revenue targets in an increasingly complex fundraising operation.
Under the direct supervision and guidance of the P4 Operations Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for monitoring all construction activities in the Country Office (School infrastructures, Health Center, etc.) and providing technical support on managing construction and rehabilitation activities.
The consultant will support the implementation of UNICEF’s social protection component of the joint UN Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) programme, supported by the Government of Switzerland, and implemented jointly with UNDP, UNESCO and FAO, by strengthening disaster risk and protection planning capacities within the social protection sector in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), in line with shock-responsive social protection (SRSP) principles.
The consultant will support the implementation of UNICEF’s social protection component of the joint UN Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) programme, supported by the Government of Switzerland, and implemented jointly with UNDP, UNESCO and FAO, by strengthening disaster risk and protection planning capacities within the social protection sector in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), in line with shock-responsive social protection (SRSP) principles.
Under the direct supervision of the ADAP officer and in collaboration with the Education Specialist , the consultant is responsible for providing technical support in the implementation of the Akelius initiative, contributing to a quality scale-up in five administrative units by ensuring technical support to key partners (teacher training institutes and education ministries), providing monitoring of activities within schools, monitoring of equipment, feedback collection and knowledge exchange between different administrative units and schools and regular reporting of these activities and serving as a technical resource person for schools and partners.
Under the supervision of the Child Protection Specialist, Child Protection Section, the consultant will provide technical support and monitor the multiple implementing partners in the provinces through on-site, real-time activity guidance and technical support to ensure that activities are well harmonised and implemented to achieve the planned targets and results under the same result framework.
The consultancy will monitor and provide support to implementing partners on the ground (in the field) and provide the necessary technical guidance but also attend meetings with implementing partners in the field in schools and communities. The consultant will also serve as a broker, engaging with key gatekeepers and creating alignment on the work of different agencies operating in schools and those in communities.

For quality analysis of the current environment and barriers to breastfeeding in Turkmenistan, this consultancy foresees implementation of the secondary data analysis of the levels, trends and relationships of key variables related to the breastfeeding from the MICS and TMNS surveys, and testing of the hypothesis through focus group discussions for quality data collection.
