For every child, protection.

In Belize, children continue to face the threat of violence, neglect, and abuse — challenges that demand collective action and youth leadership. UNICEF Belize, together with the National Commission for Families and Children (NCFC), is committed to strengthening child protection systems and promoting positive social norms that keep every child safe, respected, and supported.

The Blue Teddy Bear Campaign is a national initiative that inspires families, communities, and young people to take a stand against violence and create safer spaces for children. The campaign uses the Blue Teddy Bear — a symbol of comfort and healing — to mobilize communities and raise awareness on the importance of protecting every child.
