How can you make a difference?
Under the direction of the ICT Manager, P4 this position provides general ICT program/project management and administrative support for the range of projects and/or portfolio to ensure their smooth running and implementation. The incumbent prioritizes tasks and organizes work independently based on general direction from the supervisor and carries out a broad range of activities including but not limited to work planning, documentation management, reporting and logistics support. The incumbent will act as back up for the other ICTD Project Associates when required.
The Project Associate provides general ICT program management, project management and administrative support for a range of projects and portfolios to ensure their smooth running and implementation. The Project Associate prioritizes tasks and organizes work independently based on general direction from the supervisor and carries out a broad range of activities, including work planning, documentation management, reporting and logistics support.
The Project Associate (temporary appointment) will report to the ICT Manager (Customer Relationship Management), P4 in ICTD’s Digital Foundations – Business Section.
Main responsibilities include:

- Minimum requirements:
- Education: Secondary Education in Business Administration, Finance, Administration, Business, any other related field and any other related fields.
A Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) from a recognized academic institution in a field relevant to the position may replace 3 years of related work experience. A Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) may replace an additional 2 years. - Work Experience: At least 6 years of relevant work experience in Administration, Programme, Programme Management, Financial Management, Clerical and any other related fields.
- Skills: Coordination, ERP System, Microsoft Suite, Monitoring, Project Management, Reporting.
- Language Requirements: Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- Education: Secondary Education in Business Administration, Finance, Administration, Business, any other related field and any other related fields.

UNICEF appointments are subject to medical clearance. Issuance of a visa by the host country of the duty station is required for IP positions and will be facilitated by UNICEF. Remarks:
Candidates must be nationals of EU countries or in possession of a valid work permit. Please note that General Service (GS) staff are locally recruited staff and candidates are personally responsible for any travel and accommodation arrangements.
Please note that Spanish permanent residency holders, if successful in the selection process, must relinquish their residence permit to be accredited with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as the accreditation and the general immigration regime in Spain are incompatible. The period during which UN personnel remain accredited will constitute an interruption of their legal residence in Spain.
