For every child, make a difference
The Marketing Services for Individual Giving Assistant will integrate the Marketing Services area, which is part of the Resource Mobilization and Partnership section, which operates with individual donors and corporate partners to make a long-term commitment to the furthering of children’s rights. This position will work in the Marketing Services area, but exclusively with the teams that take care of donations from individuals.
How can you make a difference?
Under the direct supervision of Marketing Services Officer and working together with the Individual Giving fundraising channels, the Marketing Services for Individual Giving Assistant will undertake the following tasks:
- Adapt, create and review fundraising contents and materials for individuals fundraising purposes;
- Proactively search and present global content and materials, campaigns for IG (Individual Giving) and seek necessary tools for possible adaptations/use of the content nationally;
- Ensure quality of outputs according to UNICEF standards in all products and campaigns produced by and with Individual Giving teams and content in line with UNICEF’s work and brand book/guidelines;
- Work closely with peers within each Individual Giving channel to access information and materials needed to develop activities;
- Be in constant contact and alignment with the Communications area to map events and content opportunities that can be explored through individual giving channels;
- Support the creation of briefings for agencies, freelancers, and photographers when necessary;
- Participat in webinars and meetings, regarding individual giving fundraising, when necessary;
- Ensure that all campaign materials and products are organized, backed up and uploaded onto SharePoint;

Minimum requirements:
- Completion of secondary education is required, preferably supplemented by a university degree in Communication, journalism, mass media and art/ Arts, public relations, advertising and marketing.
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in communication or marketing area, with at least 2 years of professional work experience in fundraising communication and content production (text).
- Ability to follow creative briefs and produce accurate information.
- Experience working for an international organization or an NGO is desirable.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English is required. Knowledge of Spanish is an asset.
