The Programme Specialist (Field Operations) will assist the Chief Field Operations and Emergency (CFOE) in overseeing and supporting UNICEF’s field operations in Sudan. The incumbent will contribute to the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of program activities at the field level, as well as emergency preparedness and response. This will involve close coordination with country office program sections, operations and field offices to ensure the survival, wellbeing of children, mothers, and affected communities, in accordance with the obligations of the Core Commitments for Children (CCCs) in humanitarian action.
The purpose of the Sub-national PMNP IM Consultant is to enhance the coordination and effectiveness of the UNICEF Health and Nutrition program in Mindanao under the guidance of the Health and Nutrition Specialist and the Nutrition Officer. The consultant will support the Programme Officers in their collaboration with the Ministry of Health’s Project Management Offices (RPMO) to ensure the successful implementation of the UNICEF-DOH partnership agreement for the PMNP in BARMM for the following duty stations:
- One (1) Lanao Del Sur (14 LGUs); Duty Station: Iligan City
- One (1) Maguindanao Del Norte (6 LGUs); Duty Station: Cotabato City
- One (1) Maguindanao Del Sur (11 LGUs); Duty Station: Cotabato City
- One (1) Sulu (9 LGUs); Duty Station: Zamboanga City
