Purpose of Activity/Assignment
The objective of this international consultancy is to provide technical guidance on the two major initiatives undertaken by UNICEF Georgia:
• Development of the context-tailored concept and piloting of the child rights impact assessment mechanism (CRIA)
• Development of the child rights training materials and contributing to the training of child rights trainers (ToT)
The Nutrition in Emergencies (NiE) Consultant will support the National Department of Health (NDOH), UNICEF, and
nutrition partners to prepare for and respond to the nutrition consequences of the El Niño-induced drought. The consultant
will strengthen nutrition sector coordination, emergency preparedness and contingency planning, nutrition surveillance and
early warning systems, partner capacity, and the delivery of nutrition services and supplies to affected populations. In
addition, the consultant will support the preparation of the national nutrition survey and strengthen national and
subnational capacity for the prevention, detection, and management of acute malnutrition among children. Overall, the
consultant will facilitate a timely, evidence-based, and coordinated nutrition response aimed at preventing and treating
acute malnutrition while safeguarding essential nutrition services during the Elnino driven drought emergency.
The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) is responding to its 17th Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) outbreak, confirmed in May 2026 and affecting Ituri, North Kivu, and South Kivu provinces. The situation remains complex and evolving, with transmission occurring in both community and health-care settings. Response efforts are led by national authorities in a context shaped by health system limitations, logistical constraints, insecurity, displacement, and diverse community perceptions influencing health-seeking behaviors.
UNICEF supports the Government through a multi-sectoral approach, focusing on community engagement, surveillance, infection prevention, and the continuity of essential services for vulnerable populations.
This context requires strong coordination, adaptability, and cultural sensitivity to support effective and equitable response efforts, particularly for children and at-risk communities.
UNICEF PFP’s Partnerships Advisory Support Services (PASS) team seeks additional consultant capacity. This expansion aims to support global engagement with businesses and philanthropists. The team also requires assistance in researching public opinion trends on social issues, media coverage, and reporting for profiling and analyzing potential high-value partnership prospects.
The purpose of this consultancy is to support the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services (MCDSS), in collaboration with key stakeholders, to update the Shock Responsive Social Protection (SRSP) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Zambia, by incorporating recommendations from the two completed evaluations of the 2024 Drought Emergency Cash Transfer (DECT). The assignment will translate existing findings and experience into clear, practical and implementable SOP provisions responding to shocks through the social protection system, particularly the Social Cash Transfer (SCT) programme delivery infrastructure.
The assignment will ensure that the SOPs are aligned with relevant legislation, policies, and other legal and operational frameworks, while incorporating lessons and recommendations identified in the two DECT evaluations.
The purpose of this four-month consultancy is to provide time-bound and deliverable-based construction engineering services to UNICEF Egypt. The consultant will review planned and ongoing infrastructure interventions, prepare and validate technical documentation, support procurement processes, monitor implementation and quality, and provide recommendations to address technical, contractual and implementation risks.
The consultant will be deployed on an on-demand basis depending on programme needs, geographic coverage, urgency and the specific deliverables required. They will be responsible for delivering the agreed content outputs assigned through a pre-mission brief, including pre-production, filming, post-production, and any additional editorial deliverables as required, in coordination with the UNICEF Advocacy & Communications section.

The consultancy will assess and refine technology-enabled approaches for service delivery, case management, data use, and decision-making, ensuring they complement community-based and human-centered programming. Building on previous research, the work will identify opportunities to apply emerging AI solutions while upholding child rights, inclusion, gender equality, data protection, and harm-mitigation principles
