Since the ceasefire in fall of 2025, the early recovery phase has been delayed due to an inability to access rebuilding materials and supplies, leaving the system largely on conflict-footing even now as we await the presence of a functional Board of Peace/NCAG and an International Stabilization Force. In this context, primary health services and their functionality remain critical. UNICEF expects to play the leading role in PHC recovery and rebuilding. Led by a Health Manager with a technical link to the State of Palestine Office, the Health and Nutrition Specialist will have an NOB reporting to them and will lead the work on early recovery and rebuilding of the primary health systems.
