Since the ceasefire in fall of 2025, the early recovery phase has been delayed due to an inability to access rebuilding materials and supplies, leaving the system largely on conflict-footing even now as we await the presence of a functional Board of Peace/NCAG and an International Stabilization Force. In this context, primary health services and their functionality remain critical. UNICEF expects to play the leading role in PHC recovery and rebuilding.
