The Supporter Engagement Strategy (SES) is a mechanism to deliver UNICEF’s strategic plan, bringing to life UNICEF’s objective of winning support for the cause of children from decision makers and the public. It is a set of enablers bringing together UNICEF colleagues across Private Sector Fundraising and Partnerships (PFP), Department of Communications (DOC), Information Technology (ICT), the Global Volunteers Office, National Committees and Country Offices to reach advocacy, public engagement and fundraising goals with individual supporters; leveraging state-of-the-art technologies to customize experiences locally and fostering positive change and collaboration within UNICEF. The Pre-Implementation Lead is responsible for commencing the implementation of these SES enablers within identified UNICEF offices to improve capacity and deliver optimal supporter experience and loyalty. This preparation stage is critical to ensuring office readiness for implementation, that resources are correctly allocated, “As-Is” and “To-Be” stages are documented and agreed, risks identified with mitigation plans and that the implementation team has clear requirements to develop the localization of the Digital Platform. The role will provide strategic and tactical direction during pre-implementation phases, preparing markets for the localization of the Global SES Platform. They will ensure a smooth transition from Preparation to Market Implementation stages, including the delivery of platform roll out milestones, coordinating with workstream leads and across PFP, Regional Support Centers (RSCs), ICTD and Country Offices.
