| The WASH Specialist (Private Sector and Urban Sanitation) reports to WASH Specialist (Level 3) for guidance and general supervision. The Specialist supports the development, preparation, management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the WASH programme within the country programme. The Specialist provides technical guidance and management support throughout the programming processes, to facilitate the administration and achievement of the WASH-related output results in the country programme. The support provided by the WASH specialist will enable the country office to achieve the WASH-related output results of the country programme around urban sanitation and private sector management. This, in turn, will contribute to the achievement of the outcome results of the country programme document. When done effectively, the achievement of the outcome results will improve child survival, growth and development and reduce inequalities in the country. |

| El propósito de la Consultoría es contar con asesoramiento especializado para el logro de resultados inscritos en el Programa de UNICEF en materia de DRR – EPR y el desarrollo de herramientas que apoyen el diseño y faciliten la implementación de dichos resultados, en particular aquellos con impacto directo en el éxito del proyecto “Comprehensive Disaster Participatory Preparedness Focused on Highly Vulnerable Communities” financiado por ECHO que incluye los siguientes componentes: Desarrollo de capacidades básicas y especializadas; Identificación, mapeo y definición de mecanismos de coordinación de actores; evaluación de Riesgos; definición participativa del escenario primario de intervención con acciones de Preparación y acción anticipatoria, articulación entre la evaluación de riesgo y el diseño del planes locales de preparación. de un escenario primario; Paquetes Básicos de Preparación y evaluación de los cambios generados en el Proyecto. |
