| Under the direct supervision of the Chief Child Survival & Development (CSD), the Construction Specialist is responsible for providing technical expertise and coordination support for large construction initiatives within the country office, particularly the construction of the Center of Excellence in Baghdad, undertaken in close collaboration with the Ministry of Health. Responsibilities encompass the full cycle of construction project management covering planning, design, technical oversight, procurement support, and on-site monitoring of works. The incumbent collaborates closely with UNICEF Programme/ Operations in defining construction interventions to meet programmatic needs and achieve results for children and provides technical and advisory support to Government and partners on construction project management. |
