The objective of the Child Survival Action Plan is to support Mozambique's targets for reducing under-five mortality, improve core indicators, expand coverage, and enhance the quality of high-impact MNCH interventions to manage morbidity and mortality, while strengthening primary healthcare platforms. The focus will be on operationalizing and scaling up quality MNCH interventions currently limited across the service delivery spectrum. |

The Curriculum System Strengthening (CSS) Integrated Implementation Plan and Communications Strategy will be developed to proceed with adequate information sharing and consensus building, with adequate monitoring and learning from the implementation. Reference may be made to the brief and draft Communications Strategy developed in 2023/2024.
The work targets across programmes and initiatives in the basic education system – including the Three Stream Model (TSM), in line with the overall strategic imperatives of Curriculum Strengthening. |

The support is expected to reflect the existing political relationships among the key stakeholders, as well as consideration of the historical progress that the country has experienced over the years. Further, the consultant is expected to showcase adaptability to the changing environment by adjusting and updating work when required. |
