| UNICEF is establishing a Roster of National Loss and Damage Consultants. The roster will play a central role in supporting the CoE’s Global Policy Team during its inception phase by providing specialized technical support to UNICEF Country Offices and government counterparts in developing project-based funding requests and related technical assistance submissions under the Fund for responding to Loss and Damage (FRLD), established under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and Paris Agreement, and in full compliance with the Barbados Implementation Modalities (BIM). The consultant will ensure that all proposed activities are pre-defined, pre-assessed, and implementation-ready, meeting BIM requirements and donor standards. |

| UNICEF is establishing a Global Roster of Sustainable Energy Consultants as a stand-by mechanism to provide rapid access to pre-qualified experts. The roster will support UNICEF Offices and partners worldwide by enabling the CoE to deliver targeted technical assistance during its establishment phase, contributing to climate-resilient and low-carbon development outcomes for children. Specifically, it will allow UNICEF to:
•Scale technical capacity in response to increasing Country Office and government demand
•Rapidly mobilise expertise for time-sensitive programme, innovation, and financing needs
•Match specialized expertise to specific sectoral, regional, and country contexts
•Strengthen collaboration across the CoE, Country Offices, Regional Offices, headquarters divisions, and partners
•Ensure consistent, high-quality, and timely technical support |
