UNICEF is establishing a Global Roster of National Policy Consultants to provide rapid, high-quality technical advice and capacity-building support to UNICEF Country Offices and governments. These consultants will help accelerate child-centered national climate policies, focusing on: • Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) • National Adaptation Plans (NAPs) • Sectoral policies and plans The roster will function as a stand-by mechanism, enabling UNICEF to rapidly mobilise pre-qualified experts to design, assess, pilot, and scale climate-resilient investments that safeguard the continuity of essential services for children and accelerate results in the context of a changing climate

UNICEF is establishing a Global Roster of Sustainable Energy Consultants as a stand-by mechanism to provide rapid access to pre-qualified experts. The Legal Affairs Specialist (TA) will give recommendations and advice on a wide range of organizational activities and interests, and concern, among other things, the interaction of UNICEF with governments and other key partners as well as on strategic initiatives across UNICEF. This role is for professionals who are comfortable operating at the centre of a global organization. As an OPSCEN Associate, you will serve as a first point of contact for UNICEF personnel in the field and contribute to the team’s shared responsibility for maintaining situational awareness by ensuring the availability of real time data and reporting, in support of timely and coordinated action. Following its relocation from New York to Rome, OPSCEN is entering an exciting new phase, with a clear vision to strengthen its role as UNICEF’s global emergency operations and crisis communication service.
