| UNICEF currently has a few active Corporate Agreements (CoAg) with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Under this consultancy, the CoAg titled “Global Emergency Response and Recovery Partner Engagement: Expanding Efforts and Strategies to Improve Rapid Response to Public Health Emergencies Globally” is the focus and other relevant CDC projects supervised by the principal investigator (PI for the CoAg, currently the associate director of Health section).
In close collaboration with WASH chiefs and project managers at the country level, the consultant will support the third-year CDC CoAg management, including communication with the donor and coordination of activities. The third-year projects to be managed is two pronged: 1) projects funded directly through the third-year of the CoAg (September 2025 – September 2026), including Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) for Mpox (monkeypox) response, Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH), and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH); 2) multisectoral cholera response projects and an Ebola response project whose funds were awarded through an immunization CoAg to the same PI which runs through June 2026 with high possibility of carryover beyond June |

| The consultant will develop and implement UNICEF’s communication and visibility plans of polio eradication donors under the guidance of the supervisor and in close consultation and collaboration with the UNICEF Polio Resource Mobilization (RM) team and partners of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI). This includes creating and implementing visibility activities for multiple donors in coordination with country and regional offices teams, supporting donor reporting, producing videos and multimedia content in-house, managing and reporting on social media plans and activations. |

| Join UNICEF Peru as a Communication Assistant. You will contribute to the promotion of children’s rights in Peru by supporting the operational implementation of the media and content strategy. The primary role of the position is to strengthen technical engagement with traditional media, new digital media, and the digital platforms of traditional media at all levels (local, regional, national, and international).
In this regard, the Assistant is responsible for producing journalistic content that is appealing to different types of media, while ensuring that dissemination and advocacy actions are grounded in a rights-based, intercultural, and global approach, and that they contribute significantly to strengthening UNICEF’s advocacy, visibility, and positioning. |
