The purpose of this role is to coordinate and support the demand for Technology for Development (T4D) programmatic support. As UNICEF Programmes increasingly rely on digital solutions for effective program delivery, systems strengthening, and monitoring, you will collaborate with programme teams to identify, assess, and integrate ICTs and digital innovations into UNICEF's programming. You will also focus on strengthening internal capacity to lead and support T4D-related initiatives, identifying and engaging with key partners, and building business relationships. Your role will include applying reusable and replicable technical building blocks to maximize the scale-up and sustainability of technology and digital innovation for UNICEF programming. You will work closely with Programme staff, liaising with the Regional Office ICT and T4D teams, as well as the central ICT Division, where applicable. Additionally, the T4D Specialist may supervise local staff or oversee the work of consultants to ensure the successful implementation of initiatives.
