    UNICEF Indonesia secures, develops and maintains strategic partnerships with high-value private sector partners (with a specific focus on contributions of US$ 100,000 and upwards) to advance the rights and well-being of children across the country. To enhance its ability to meet the funding needs of its new 2026-2030 Country Programme, UNICEF Indonesia seeks to engage a Partnerships Officer to grow the number of Companies and Foundations partnering for children with UNICEF. The staff member will play a key role in the research, identification and securing of new partnership opportunities. The staff member will research prospects and develop compelling partnership proposals and instigate discussions and other engagement modalities with relevant prospects, in close collaboration with the Head of High Value Partnerships and other members of the High Value Partnerships team. Under the guidance of the Chief of Private Sector Fundraising (PSFR), and under the supervision of the Partnerships Specialist (Head of High Value Partnerships), the staff member will be responsible for the further development and management of the partnership prospect pipeline and regularly report progress on the moves management of this. The staff member will also work closely with colleagues in Programme Sections and Communications section in order to develop impactful and effective propositions. This is a Temporary Appointment contract with a duration of 364 days.

These partnerships are central to achieving programme results and require effective management. To enhance its ability to manage the growing number of private sector high-value partners, UNICEF Indonesia seeks to engage a Partnerships Officer. The staff member will play a key role in managing relationships with UNICEF high-value partners to ensure agreed partnerships for children proceed as planned, and to inspire them with results achieved. The staff member will ensure effective management and stewardship of the partnerships across all partnerships under the role’s portfolio. This is a Temporary Appointment contract with a duration of 364 days.

    The purpose of the consultancy is to provide technical support to UNICEF's engagement with the Department for Emergency Situations in Romania for systems strengthening for child-focused emergency preparedness. The main involvement of the consultant will be in providing support for the implementation of PREP-KIDS, a 2-year project implemented by a consortium of four countries (Bulgaria, Moldova, Poland and Romania) led by the Department for Emergency Situations. The project aims at strengthening the quality, coherence and child-centered focused emergency preparedness in the four countries, as well as increasing the level of knowledge and preparedness of the population, especially children and adolescents.

    Education: Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Social Sciences, Public Health, Nutrition, Disaster/Emergency Management, Communication, or another field relevant to the post. Advanced university degree is desirable.Experience: A minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in programme formulation, planning, management and evaluation, including experience in emergency programme management and operations.Proven experience in programming with and for children and young people in emergency and post-emergency situations is required.Proven experience working with, or in close coordination with, the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and other national and local counterparts.Versatility, sound judgement and maturity, with the ability to work effectively in a team and to cope with stressful and difficult conditions, including political and cultural sensitivity.Current knowledge of emergency response issues and policies, as well as social programming policies and procedures in international development cooperation.Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment and to establish harmonious and effective working relationships, both within and outside the organization.Language Requirements: Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
