International Consultancy: Development of a Knowledge Management Strategy (2026 – 2028) and associated Implementation Plan for UNICEF Malawi (Open to Non Malawian Nationals Only) in Malawi
The purpose of this consultancy is to support the MCO in strengthening its Knowledge Management (KM) function by developing a comprehensive and context-responsive KM strategy and implementation plan. The assignment aims to enhance the systematic generation, organization, sharing, and use of knowledge across all programmatic areas to improve evidence-informed decision-making, promote adaptive programming, and accelerate results for children. The consultant will lead the design of a KM strategy that aligns with UNICEF’s global standards and leverages lessons from other country offices and partners. This includes establishing practical systems and processes for knowledge capture and dissemination, fostering a culture of learning and innovation among staff, and improving the packaging and use of evidence and good practices for both internal and external stakeholders. Ultimately, the assignment seeks to institutionalize knowledge management as a core component of MCO’s programming, enabling the office to better respond to complex development and humanitarian challenges and to influence policies and practices in support of child rights in Malawi.
