Join UNICEF Peru as a Communication Assistant. You will contribute to the promotion of children’s rights in Peru by supporting the operational implementation of the media and content strategy. The primary role of the position is to strengthen technical engagement with traditional media, new digital media, and the digital platforms of traditional media at all levels (local, regional, national, and international). In this regard, the Assistant is responsible for producing journalistic content that is appealing to different types of media, while ensuring that dissemination and advocacy actions are grounded in a rights-based, intercultural, and global approach, and that they contribute significantly to strengthening UNICEF’s advocacy, visibility, and positioning.

La presente consultoría tiene por objetivo apoyar el diseño, gestión y consolidación de estrategias de movilización de recursos orientadas a audiencias de alto valor —tales como filántropos individuales, potenciales major donors, líderes empresariales, fundaciones y redes de influencia social y cultural— con foco en la respuesta humanitaria de emergencia de UNICEF en Gaza, contribuyendo al crecimiento sostenible de ingresos de alto valor y al fortalecimiento de relaciones de largo plazo, alineadas a las prioridades humanitarias de UNICEF. En línea con la estrategia global de movilización de recursos de UNICEF y las prioridades de desarrollo o fortalecimiento de distintos segmentos, este proyecto representa una oportunidad estratégica para diversificar ingresos e incrementar el valor de largo plazo de la base de donantes. En Chile, UNICEF y otras organizaciones ha lanzado diversas campañas de recaudación vinculadas a la crisis humanitaria en Gaza teniendo una excelente recepción en la sociedad civil y entre distintos sectores del país, generando altos niveles de movilización y apoyo a causas humanitarias.
