Through communication and engagement, as well as the empowerment and participation of stakeholders, communities, children, civil society partners, and government counterparts, she/he promotes measurable behavioral and social change/mobilization. This subsequently contributes to the achievement of sustainable and concrete results in improving children’s rights, survival and wellbeing in the country.

UNICEF PNG Office plans to engage two (2) national Field Engineers. The positions are field-based, with one Engineer fully based in Lae district, Morobe Province and one Engineer fully based in Rigo District, Central Province, providing on-site technical support and oversight across the full infrastructure intervention cycle. This includes design review, construction supervision, quality assurance, and completion verification under the projects.
