Individual National Consultant – Contracts Officer (Office Based) in Nepal
UNICEF Nepal seeks the services of a professional expert to support the Government of Nepal scale up programmes on Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition, Maternal Micronutrient Supplementation for pregnant women, and establishing lactation management units in leading hospitals across Nepal. The individual will be hired as an individual Consultant to support the timely, high-quality procurement and delivery of supplies for the upcoming Nepal National Micronutrient Survey (NNMS). This role requires a specialized procurement professional to manage the procurement of essential supplies and services for the program. Alongside, the individual will support the planning and procurement of nutrition commodities such as Multiple Micronutrient Supplements (MMS), Ready to Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF), F-75, and F-100; equipment for the expansion of LMUs, and specific health-related supplies supported under the USG grant. to help develop a targeted PSE Strategy that mobilizes financial and non financial private sector resources, including CSR funds, for children, and promotes the adoption of Child Rights and Business Principles across businesses to ensure child focused, responsible practices. This assignment is expected to be completed within 1 (one) year.
