Under the supervision of the Climate Resilience Global Practice team (Nairobi CoE Satellite Office), the consultant will work in close collaboration with the Innovative Finance for Children (IF4C) team, EMOPS, PPD, and other relevant stakeholders, including regional and country offices. UNICEF is seeking for a Consultant who will lead the development and delivery of knowledge management and evidence synthesis function on violence against children (VAC), child protection systems strengthening and public financing for child protection, while ensuring a coherent and evidence-driven contribution to the Second Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children.
The consultancy will support the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) and UNICEF in the implementation of the EUfunded Climate-Resilient School Systems (EU-CRSS) programme in Vanuatu, while conducting a structured assessment of climate impacts on schools and education service delivery. The assignment will produce a robust assessment, a government-usable methodology, operational tools and implementation-monitoring inputs to support planning, resource allocation, programme management and EU donor reporting.
The objective of this consultancy is to provide technical assistance to strengthen nutrition governance and advance the implementation of the Roadmap for Nutrition for All in Kiribati. This includes supporting the establishment of a multisectoral National Food and Nutrition Council, developing a Common Results Framework (CRF) and strengthening national mechanisms for coordination, accountability, monitoring, and implementation through the integration of nutrition priorities into sectoral plans, policies, and budgets.
The consultancy will help strengthen programme delivery by supporting implementation planning, identifying and addressing bottlenecks, building synergies across related initiatives, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and ensuring that programme activities are aligned with broader government priorities and PSS planning processes. The assignment will also provide technical monitoring and reporting support to the UNICEF North Pacific Office for education and ECD-related activities with PSS, OCS and other partners.
