UNICEF, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, aims to develop a comprehensive digital map and shapefiles for 26,000 schools in Sudan. This will support the design and establishment of an EMIS that will provide accurate, up-to-date information on school infrastructure, enrollment, and other critical indicators.
This consultancy will support the expanding work of the PPD IFIs team with the World Bank. As UNICEF grows its partnerships with the World Bank in fragile and conflict affected settings, there has been a significant increase in direct financing projects in fragile and conflict affected contexts. These partnerships are unique and require more time, resources, and specific expertise compared to projects with traditional donors. The consultant will provide project management support to these country partnerships to ensure smooth project negotiation, implementation, and reporting from the inception to completion stages of the project’s lifecycle.
