How can you make a difference?

The main purpose of this position is to lead the Business Intelligence team to ensure the organization's financial sustainability through data management, analysis, and optimization of fundraising processes. The selected individual will be a key player in the organization's strategy, contributing analytical judgment and business vision to improve decision-making. They will be responsible for directing critical projects, such as the migration of the current CRM (Customer Relationship Management), and for fostering a data-driven culture within the organization, ensuring that information is accurate, accessible, and actionable. This role leverages solid technical-functional knowledge to guide a team of three in designing and implementing effective data solutions.
  • Coordination of the Business Intelligence Team:
    • Foster a collaborative work environment oriented towards problem-solving and continuous improvement.
    • Coordinating the analyst team's tasks, working collaboratively to ensure the achievement of the area's objectives.

  • Cross-functional Leadership and Strategic Partner Management:
    • Act as the main business partner for other areas (Prospecting, Finance, Retention, and Management), managing the demand for analysis and ensuring that data solutions meet their needs.
    • Lead the relationship with strategic partners and external suppliers, especially payment processors, to resolve incidents, negotiate improvements, and co-design solutions that optimize fundraising efficiency.
  • Strategic Analysis and Reporting:
    • Develop and keep critical success indicators (KPIs) updated for management, providing analysis on donor behavior, campaign effectiveness, and overall commercial performance.
    • Conduct in-depth analyses to identify patterns, trends, and correlations between variables to optimize loyalty and acquisition strategies.
    • Oversee the correct execution of operational tasks for loyalty campaigns, such as unsubscriptions, credit card changes, and donation increases.

  • Management and Optimization of Donation Fundraising:
    • Ensure the monthly collection process for recurring donations, being responsible for maintaining an effective payment ratio.
    • Design and supervise recovery strategies for failed charges, analyzing root causes and proposing short and long-term solutions.
    • Based on database analysis, identify clusters that respond best to certain stimuli to drive ad-hoc plans that impact and reduce the churn rate.

  • Project Leadership and Systems Management:
    • With the support of the project Owner (a member of their team), lead the organization's CRM migration, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure a successful transition.
    • Lead technological improvements by automating processes with cloud technology, including Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
    • Supervise the correct data integration between the organization's different platforms and systems, guaranteeing information consistency and quality.

The proposed post will contribute to the section by:

  • An updated and automated dashboard of critical KPIs for management decision-making.
  • CRM migration project led and executed according to the established plan, with weekly progress reports.
  • Monthly analysis reports on fundraising performance, including insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Documentation of the area's key processes, including collections management, systems integrations, and loyalty operations.
  • Donation payment ratio consistently maintained above 90%.
