The WASH Officer reports to the WASH Specialist Level NO3 (based in East Area Office, Kassla) for supervision. The WASH Officer provides technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the WASH programming process. The Officer prepares, manages and implements a variety of technical and administrative tasks, related to the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the WASH output results of the country programme particularly focusing on civil works related to water supply and sanitation infrastructures i.e., designing, preparation of BOQ, cost-estimation, certification and quality of construction works.
The purpose of the consultancy is to provide technical expertise on SBC/demand promotion for preparedness and readiness for any future pandemic and associated new vaccine rollout.
The aim of this assignment is to provide technical support to improve planning and budgeting processes from a child-rights perspective, with the aim of contributing to strengthened data availability on social sector spending.
