UNICEF Moldova is looking for a consultant who will support the MLSP in implementing ongoing activities under the RESTART reform and ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities to the government for initiatives launched over the past two years. The purpose of this consultancy is to finalize and operationalize the subnational INFORM model, ensuring that it meets methodological standards and can be reliably used for child-sensitive climate and disaster risk analysis in Madagascar.
Key objectives include:
• Revising and restructuring the existing draft INFORM model to align with CCRI-DRM standards and UNICEF guidance;
• Validating revised indicators and composite indices through national consultation;
• Integrating the model into the national GeoSight platform;
• Building capacity among national institutions to independently maintain, update, and utilize the model in planning and early warning systems.
The final model will serve as a strategic tool to guide government institutions and partners in prioritizing interventions for risk-informed, child-sensitive development planning and humanitarian preparedness.
