To primarily support the D&A nutrition team in collating data and undertaking data analysis for the upcoming 2026 Flagship Child Nutrition Report (CNR) and support the finalization of different advocacy products for 2025 CNR. The 2025 report is delayed and now scheduled to be released in September 2025. As a result, data and analysis will need to be updated to ensure that UNICEF’S flagship nutrition report features the most up to data for countries worldwide. At the same time, the team needs to conceptualize and undertake analysis for the 2026 report which is scheduled to be released in August 2026. The 2026 edition of the CNR is focused on exclusive breastfeeding, a global nutrition target and the incumbent will support the team in identification and collation of relevant data sources, undertaking data quality reviews, validation of estimates. Additionally, this position will also support the team with undertaking country consultations for the nutrition sustainable Development Goals (SDG) indicators especially the newly accepted SDG on diets.
