UNICEF East Asia and Pacific Regional Office is seeking a suitably qualified Adolescent and Youth Foresight consultant (roster) to support the development of a Girls and Youth Foresight Vision Paper to inform the upcoming ROMP for the EAP Region (2026-2029/2030). Using recently launched UNICEF guidance such as the Youth Foresight Playbook, it is now possible to conduct meaningful consultations with girls and boys with a more forward-looking perspective, aiming at more risk-informed and future-proof planning. The consultant would work with the Adolescent Development Specialist and Regional Gender and Adolescent Advisor on the assignment.
The consultant would be engaged to conduct a visioning exercise with adolescent girls and boys and youth groups in the EAP Region to inform the ROMP visioning for the EAP Regional Office.
This role is advertised to create a pool of experts for similar assignments in the future.
The assignment would aim to:
• Analyse available data on consultations with girls and boys conducted by Country Offices in the region in the last 12 months to understand key trends, concerns and proposed ideas to address issues from this cohort.
• Review relevant data from CPEs, SitAn and other sources conducted within last 12 months.
• Targeted recommendations on emerging areas of concern, trends, and UNICEF’s added value from the perspective of adolescent girls and youth in the Region.
• Produce a Girls and Youth Vision for the next 5 years to inform the ROMP development for the EAP Regional Office.
Under the supervision of Programme Manager (Data & Analytics), the incumbent will support UNICEF’s commitments to Transparency, particularly within the framework of International Aid Transparency Initiative. This role involves a broad range of responsibilities, including internal and external communications, knowledge management, data analysis, collation and compilation of financial and programme data. Additionally, the incumbent will also manage the maintenance and enhancements of UNICEF Transparency Portal.
The Division of Private Fundraising and Partnerships (PFP) aims to achieve results for children by maximizing UNICEF's private fundraising and advocacy around the world. To carry out this mission, PFP coordinates fundraising activities and private sector partnerships with offices in over 50 countries.
The global team operates to support and enable countries in their fundraising, and this role works within that approach to support and develop the capabilities of teams, as well as supporting or leading the development of relevant global strategies. Individual Giving is one of UNICEF’s most critical sources of revenue and the PFP Individual Giving team, which this role would be part of, focuses on supporting countries to grow their individual giving revenue.
The PFP Individual Giving team based in Geneva is a lead participant in the Supporter Engagement Strategy, which aims to increase the global acquisition and engagement of UNICEF's diverse supporter base, including donors, advocates, and volunteers. A key part of the strategy is to replace the incumbent CRM systems currently in place in 21 country offices with Salesforce-based technology. The role of Marketing Cloud Specialist will be instrumental in working with markets to redefine their fundraising approach and develop Marketing Cloud to that benefit.
