Rwanda’s commitment to improving nutrition outcomes is articulated in the 2024 National Family and Nutrition Policy (NFNP), which provides the overarching framework for addressing malnutrition in all its forms. The policy outlines strategic directions for improving food security, dietary diversity, maternal and child nutrition, and multisectoral coordination.
The purpose of this assignment is to develop a costed Nutrition Strategic Plan derived from the National Food and Nutrition Policy, ensuring clear prioritization, implementation arrangements, and sustainable financing.
UNICEF is looking for the strong professional in the area of Cash Transfers. Under the supervision of the Programme Specialist - Cash Transfers (which is the Head of the Cash Transfer Programme), the Social Policy Specialist (Cash Transfers), hereinafter referred to as the Cash Transfer Specialist will support UNICEF Ukraine’s cash transfer programme by helping design, implement, monitor, and improve four cash assistance interventions, while ensuring timely, accountable, and risk-informed delivery to vulnerable and conflict-affected children and families. The position also works closely with government partners, particularly the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity, to strengthen and expand government-led social protection systems and support the transition from humanitarian cash assistance to sustainable, shock-responsive social protection mechanisms.
Under the overall supervision of the Deputy Representative and the direct supervision of the Chief, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, the consultant will provide technical support to UNICEF Algeria throughout the development of the Country Programme Document (CPD) 2028–2032. Working closely with programme and operations teams, Government counterparts, the Regional Office and other stakeholders, the consultant will support the Country Office in developing the CPD and related documentation in accordance with UNICEF's Country Programme Procedure, Country Programme Planning Guidance, CPD roadmap and corporate guidance.
