UNICEF seeks to hire an experienced, results oriented International Individual consultant to assist UNICEF Lesotho Country Office to develop on-demand data updating protocols for various data collection modalities,which are opening of kiosks (both fixed and mobile), phone calls and NISSA permanent hubs at sub-national level. The consultant will be requested to also highlight possible pros and cons of each different method.
The Data Engineer underpins Fundraising operations and marketing campaigns by developing and maintaining data-processing tasks that ensure high-quality and timely data for decisionmaking.
In addition, the role is responsible for preparing insightful reports and data visualizations,
safeguarding data security, and introducing process automations that enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Under the supervision of the Child Protection Specialist - GBViE, the consultant will be responsible for completion of the following deliverables:
1. Support compilation of 2025 annual results reporting and trend analysis of GBViE CSI data (3.1.7 and H5.5);
2. Strengthen capacity on M&E to support GBV risk mitigation and GBViE specialized programming;
3. Contribute to strengthen the coordination of the GBViE planning and reporting cycle;
4. Facilitate the establishment of a pool of local trainers on CCS Resources in the Arabic speaking countries;
5. Support the development and uptake of the CCS remote learning in the Arabic speaking countries.
The consultancy will be home-based with travels to emergency-affected contexts relevant to the above tasks, as feasible.
