UNICEF South Sudan is looking for an experienced professional passionate about positively impacting every child to join the team as a Logistics Specialist. The individual will coordinate the logistics and warehouse operations of UNICEF in South-Sudan to support the implementation of the Health Sector Transformation Project (HSTP). The incumbent will be responsible for logistics operations including planning, coordination of incoming shipments, warehousing, and onwards transport and distribution.
The Regional Chief of Communication is accountable for developing, implementing, managing and monitoring a regional advocacy and communication strategy and associated products, partnerships and activities. He/ She will support resource mobilization, global priority and campaign initiatives, especially those of importance to the work of the National Committees. Advise, provide guidance and build communication capacity of staff and others throughout the region. The incumbent will co-ordinate and guide regional monitoring and evaluation of communication, and also provide recommendations on global, regional and country communication policy development, support and advocacy and communication activities. The incumbent will also advice on the articulation of policies and strategies, with an emphasis on those that promote gender equality and equity.
The main objectives of the national consultancy is to 1) facilitate and provide technical, capacity and coordination support in successful completion of the Child Marriage Study, liaising with international experts, the Strategic Research Centre, and participating UN agencies 2) to support the delivery of Gender Norms Strategy by ensuring inter-agency Programing, action planning, and coordination; 3) to support in documenting, share and report on processes and outcomes.

This consultant will conduct a comprehensive dietary intake assessment, including developing context-specific food-based recommendations in Cooks Island and Niue. The findings of the assessment are expected to contribute to revising dietary guidelines with meal plans, context-relevant nutrition education counselling content, Social Behavior Change (SBC) interventions as well as inform necessary policy revisions in the long run.
