We are looking for a Procurement Associate who will perform highly skilled work on UNICEF procurement activities and manage the more complex cases and requests from Programme Sections. This is the senior GS level for specialized procurement/supply chain work and requires advanced specialized knowledge acquired through formal training and experience. The function is to lead and carry out responsibility for end-to-end supply chain management from the beginning to the end of the process and provide input into the design and development of improved supply chain services and delivery mechanisms. To enhance the efficiency, retention, and career development of its staff, UNICEF Geneva aims to improve and formalize the career development pathways within PFP and other related Divisions, specifically the Division of Global Communication and Advocacy (DGCA), Public Partnerships Division (PPD) and Generation Unlimited (Gen U). These four Divisions collectively form the Partnership Cone, which coordinates fundraising, advocacy, and public-private partnerships to support UNICEF’s goals.
As part of UNICEF’s ongoing efforts to support staff development and build a more effective organization, a comprehensive approach to career path development within the Partnership Cone is critical. Therefore, UNICEF is seeking a consultant to conduct research and propose structured career paths, helping align staff growth with organizational needs and long-term goals.
The Private Sector Fundraising and Partnerships Section (PSFP) within the UNICEF Division of Private Fundraising and
Partnerships (PFP) works with National Committees and UNICEF Country Offices to maximize revenue and drive income
growth. Inside PSFP, the Virtual Hub is an incubator serving as the digital function of 16 markets across MENA, ECARO
and Singapore but also as the testing ground for new technologies, marketing channels and other types of innovation. The vision is to become the largest and most successful non-profit digital fundraising program in the world.
The consultant will develop reports on data analysis and produce data products based on data collection and visualization as per programme requirements.
